Janos StoneA sculptor’s portfolio
Overview
Janos Stone is a sculptor working in bronze, wood, glass, and stone, whose commissioned pieces sit between fine art and functional object. Over more than two decades, he has created portraits, furniture, and architectural works for private clients, with pieces exhibited at Design Miami/Basel. Yet almost none of this work had ever been documented online. Stone needed a digital brand and website that could finally bring his practice to a wider audience, with the same care and craft as the objects themselves.
I designed the brand identity and built a portfolio website that gives his work a home as considered as the objects themselves. A playful typographic system allows for multiple brand marks to exist, inspired by the 3d forms that physical material creates in space.
